Bumblebee Pendant with Labradorite Gemstone

This pendant is made with a real bumblebee. We have bumblebees that nest on our acreage. After a full summer of pollination they eventually pass away. 

I attached a Labradorite stone to the back of his body and layered him with copper. After oxidizing the fresh copper I polished parts to give him more depth and detail. He was then sealed with an industrial lacquer to prevent further oxidization.

He will be on an antique copper chain. I can cut the chain to any length needed.
